Are you enthusiastic about the arts and eager to contribute positively? The upcoming ARTS DAY at Old Swedes on Saturday, May 18th is seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks. Whether you shine in Set-Up, excel in Admin and Hosting Duties, or can help with Tear Down, your involvement is vital for the success of this exciting event. You can play a key role in crafting an unforgettable experience for all attendees. To be part of ARTS DAY, reach out to David Simmons, our Director of Music, at david@trinityparishde.org. Let’s come together to honor the influence of art and community! Our heartfelt thanks in advance for your support.

THE SERAFIN ENSEMBLE closes out TAAT Season! On Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 4:00 pm, The Serafin Ensemble returns to Trinity to close out The Arts At Trinity’s 2024-2025 Concert Season!  The diverse program includes Korngold:  Four Piece for Violin and Piano from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing; Dohnanyi: Serenade for Strings; Dvorak: Piano Quartet No. 2 in Eb, Op. 87.  Come hear Eric Pritchard and Kate Ransom, violin; Amadi Azikiwe, viola; Jacques-Pierre Malan, cello; and Read Gainsford, piano in a FREE concert of gorgeous musical works!

We are still looking for people to prepare meals for Clark House for June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th and Oct 7th; and we need meals for Epiphany House on July 17th, September 18th, November 20th and December 18th. Please sign up on the list in the lobby if you would like to volunteer. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Berninger.

It’s that time of year for Trinity to walk and fundraise for Friendship House by participating in the Highmark Walk.  All funds go directly to Friendship House. If Team Trinity Episcopal Parish gets 20 walkers and raises $2000, there is a generous donor who donates an additional $1000 to FH.  Contact Sarah Berninger for info: berninger59@comcast.net, 302-351-2422

Confirmation Sunday, May 26th—Bishop Brown will be with us at Old Swedes to celebrate Confirmation and the 325th consecration of Old Swedes Church on Trinity Sunday. We will have a potluck coffee hour in the graveyard immediately following the service. Please sign up to bring something for the potluck on the sign up sheet in the lobby.

Spring knitting: The weather is warming up at last, but the need for winter hats will return before we know it. Join the Trinity Knitters on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month for easy fellowship and a nice bit of service to the community. We meet in the conference room just off the office. Question? ashlinbray@aol.com.
